This week I sit down with breathwork teacher and healer Ana Lilia to discuss her work helping people remove blocked energy, relieve anxiety, embodiment practices, and empowering people to gain clarity, balance, and peace. Ana candidly shares her own struggles with anxiety and how breath work helped her become more grounded, less tense, and in tune with bodies reactions to outside stimuli. She also discusses a personal story of familial relapse during the pandemic, and how her and her family continue to move through this. Lastly she reminds the audience that anxiety is not something to feel ashamed of, in fact our lives in general are not designed to have our nervous system in a relaxed state, Ana says. So it's important we hold ourselves in compassion and kindness when our anxiety arises and breathe.
