This week I sit down with the co-author of "THE POWER OF AWE: Overcome Burnout & Anxiety, Ease Chronic Pain, Find Clarity & Purpose—In Less Than 1 Minute Per Day" Jake Eagle. Jake Eagle co-wrote this book with Michael Amster.  The A.W.E. Method is a five-to fifteen second, three step process that transports you into a heightened state of consciousness and wonderment that creates changes to the mind and body, while improving health and wellness.   Jake and I discuss the research studies that were built around this methodology and how it changed the participants who were frontline health care workers during one of the hardest moments in recent history--the Covid-19 pandemic. Jakes also shares with the audience, how using the A.W.E. method can reduce a persons' experience of loneliness, burnout, and shift consciousness. We also discuss the benefits of healing using the A.W.E method to help our nervous system feel safe, so long term healing and integration can occur. 
Jake is a psychotherapist, mindfulness instructor and cofounder of Live Conscious. 
Michael is a physician and faulty member at the Touro School of Medicine.
